July 2023 Newsletter

Welcome to our July Newsletter.  I know it might not feel like it this week but we are in the height of summer!  

July has been a busy month for us.  We receive lots of orders for our outdoor ranges and children’s toys and games for the holidays during July.

Team News

Our warehouse is on an industrial estate near Arundel in Sussex.  It’s a beautiful part of the country and home to lots of wildlife.  So we weren’t entirely surprised to encounter a flock of chickens merrily clucking away in our car park!

Summer Saviours

Entertaining the children in the summer holidays can be exhausting especially when the weather is bad.  Take a look below at some of our favourite indoor activities.  Links at the end to some of our products you might need.

Home Made Slime.

Get the messy mat out and create your own slime with 3 simple ingredients –

100ml PVA Glue

1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of soda

1st Contact Lens Solution

Squeeze the glue into a bowl and mix in the baking soda.  Add food colouring at this stage if you want to make it colourful.  Then add the lens solution and mix.  Once it starts to form you can knead it with your hands until smooth.

Exploding Car Wash

Really simple but lots of fun!  Get yourself a deep tray or washing up liquid bowl.  Fill it with baking powder (as much as you have in).  Grab some toy cars (or dinosaurs/dolls/lol’s anything they fancy!)

Then just add a bottle of vinegar!  It will fizz and bubble and make a big old mess but lots of fun!!!

Hand & Feet Painting.

Get creative by painting your hands and feet and creating your own pictures!  We tried foot penguins and a very hungry hungry caterpillar hand print!
